Right at the heart of things.
A holiday shaped by both tradition and the zeitgeist
At first glance the Jochele is a new hotel in the centre of the village of Pfalzen. But looks can be deceptive! In fact, behind the freshly-painted façade beats the heart of an ancient inn. Old stories, young faces. Genuine South Tyrolean inn culture. Not staged or newly invented, but quite simply a reflection of how we live today. Lifestyle at the regulars’ table. A clash of styles? No - just regular life! Because the Jochele is what it has always been - a place that connects. The old with the new. Tradition with the zeitgeist. South Tyrolean cuisine with iconic drinks. But above all - people with one another. Yes, at the Jochele you will find yourself in the very best company.
What is there to do?

Hotel stories in pictures.
A first glance will certainly tell you a lot about the Jochele Hotel. But by no means everything. This family-run hotel is situated in Pfalzen in a peaceful spot that is right at the heart of the local action. And just a stone’s throw or two away from the Pustertal Valley’s main town of Bruneck. Here, in the midst of South Tyrol’s loveliest idyll, is where ancient traditions are still followed today. And at second glance it is clear that stories are told and reinvented here. By regulars’ table visitors and Prosecco-drinking brunchers, by fans of typical South Tyrolean cuisine, selfie-takers and cocktail sippers... But why not come find out for yourself?

Contemporary treats. Cooked as they always have been.
The Jochele is a member of the “South Tyrolean Inns” group. What does this mean? Well, first of all genuineness and quality on the plate and in the glass. South Tyrolean conviviality. But also a certain inclination towards tradition, old recipes and preparation methods... The best thing you can do is just come and experience it yourself!
